"Hunting High And Low" was released in 1985 and was the first studio album by the band, which was formed in 1982. Almost two years before, in April 1983, the band around charismatic frontman Morten Harket went to London to find a studio where they could record their first album. The first single "Take On Me", released in October 1984, was only a decent success in Norway, as was the whole album. In September 1985, however, the now world-famous music video for the song made the band a global star. After that, the band's debut album went on a triumphant tour around the world, with the second single "The Sun Always Shines On TV" becoming an absolute hit and seamlessly building on the success of its predecessor. Along with "Train Of Thought" and the great title track, two more singles were released in Germany at the time.
