ARCH ENEMY present their new studio album "The Root Of All Evil". It features completely re-recorded versions of songs from the first three albums "Black Earth" (1996), "Stigmata" (1998) and "Burning Bridges" (1999), brought to life by the band's current, ultimate line-up and in a contemporary, punchy sound! Originally, these songs were written with changing band members (e.g. with former vocalist Johan Liva, drummer Peter Wildoer or bassist Martin Bengtsson), but on "The Root Of All Evil" you can hear classics like "Beast Of Man", "The Immortal", "Transmigration Macabre" or "Bridge Of Destiny" with lush production, Angela Gossow's killer vocals and partly new bass tracks by Sharlee D'Angelo. That the guitar duo Amott always excels with grandiose fretboard skills is as obligatory as the punching power of drummer Daniel Erlandsson, the whole project was conceived with the aim of incorporating older songs back into the live set and to organize a special tour after the release of the album. The mixing and mastering was masterfully handled by Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Testament, Exodus, etc.). The Root Of All Evil" features artwork/graphic design by Brazilian artist Gustavo Sazes.
