Martin Gore, Dave Gahan and Andy Fletcher released the studio album Delta Machine in March 2013 and then embarked on a world tour that thrilled more than 2.4 million fans in 32 countries. The highlight was two concerts in Berlin. Their performance is documented in a special way on the album "Depeche Mode - Live in Berlin". Depeche Mode commissioned photographer and director Anton Corbijn (A Most Wanted Man, Control) to make a concert film about the tour. Corbijn chose Berlin because he knew that the city has always held a special place in Depeche Mode's heart. In "Depeche Mode - Live in Berlin", Anton Corbijn weaves the atmosphere of Berlin, the atmosphere at the O2 Arena and exclusive interviews with the band into a coherent work of art. In addition to hits from "Delta Machine" such as "Heaven" or "Soothe My Soul", the setlist also includes classics such as "Personal Jesus" and "Enjoy the Silence".
