Two good reasons to re-release classic songs by the British singer-songwriter on vinyl. "Honky Chateau" is Elton John's fifth studio album. Originally released on May 19, 1972, it reached number two in the UK and number one in the US. John released the singles "Rocket Man (I Think It's Going to Be a Long, Long Time)", his first real hit, and "Honky Cat". For re-release on vinyl in 2017, the album was remastered from the original analogue tapes by Bob Ludwig (Gateway Mastering) and edited by Sean Magee at Abbey Road studios. A classic completely remastered back on vinyl: Elton John's fifth album "Honky Chateau". In addition to "Honky Chateau", 2017 will also see the release of "Tumbleweed Connection", "Caribou", "Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player", "Rock Of The Westies", "Blue Moves", "The Big Picture" and "Empty Sky" on vinyl.
