His thirty-third studio album is titled Wonderful Crazy Night and will feature (up to) fourteen new songs...Elton John recorded Wonderful Crazy Night with many of the musicians who have accompanied him since his musical beginnings - drummer Nigel Olsson, with whom he has worked since the late sixties, and guitarist Davey Johnston, who first played with Elton John in 1971 and eventually became a full member of the singer's backing band.Elton is also a sure bet as a producer! T-Bone Burnett took care of the production of the album, which the singer recorded at the famous studios of The Village in Los Angeles. He is also responsible for the singer's previous album The Diving Board and produced The Union, which Elton John recorded with Leon Russell in 2010...The new album Wonderful Crazy Night, which has been actively promoted on the radio for a few weeks now by the predatory single Looking Up, will be available for purchase digitally and will also have four different physical formats. The basic one will contain ten songs and a twelve-page portrait booklet with Elton's photos by the famous German photographer Juergen Teller. The same number of songs will also be offered on a one hundred and eighty gram vinyl...For die-hard fans, two more demanding formats will also be available. The deluxe version on CD will include two bonus songs and its booklet with photos will be expanded by four pages. But the super deluxe boxset will surely deserve the most attention. In it, fans will find Wonderful Crazy Night on the aforementioned vinyl, on two CDs with a total of four bonus tracks, and a special, full-colour, 20-page booklet full of portraits of Juergen Teller...With his new album Wonderful Crazy Night, Elton John clearly confirms that he is still one of the UK's top musicians and still has something to say in music even at the age of sixty-eight...
