Among them is the young American singer Halsey - one of the biggest discoveries of the last year, who is now launching her anticipated debut album Badlands...The Washington native already drew attention to herself last year when she released her first EP entitled Room 93, which featured her hit single Ghost. The EP was surprisingly well received in America and received critical praise, which put the singer in a much better position to create her debut album.Halsey fell under the spell of music at a young age. She played violin, viola and cello as a child before switching to guitar at the age of fourteen. She has put all her musical talents and passion for singing to full use on her debut album Badlands, which she is currently releasing. The album features eleven songs in its basic version, which the twenty-year-old singer has also signed as a writer. For fans of the deluxe versions, the album is also available in this expanded version and includes five extra items, including a cover of Walk The Line, a big hit for Johnny Cash.Ashley Nicolette Frangipane aka Halsey has taken her career by storm. Early on in her music career, she took to the concert stage and tried to captivate audiences with her voice. In the past year she has toured with The Kooks, Young Rising Sons and in the past few months has performed forty concerts in American arenas and major overseas festivals where she was chosen as the opening act by Imagine Dragons.
