On "It Won't Always Be Like This," Inhaler redeemed their early promise into something special: an album full of expansive indie rock grooves and energetic anthems. Elijah Hewson (vocals and guitar), Josh Jenkinson (guitar), Robert Keating (bass) and Ryan McMahon (drums) formed the band while still studying in Dublin. They have been influenced by Joy Division, Stone Roses, Kings Of Leon, The Strokes, Interpol, The Cure and many others. Inhaler has been streamed over 50 million times worldwide. The band originally planned to start recording "It Won't Always Be Like This" in March last year, but lockouts and restrictions scuppered their plans. Instead of hanging their heads, they used the time to rework the idea of their debut album. The result combines five new songs and a few familiar gems like "It Won't Always Be Like This," "My Honest Face" and "When It Breaks."
