Another piece of the puzzle In 2016 he would have been 50 years old. American singer, songwriter and guitarist Jeff Buckley. Almost twenty years after his tragic death, a sensation has occurred: in the course of research for a special edition, previously unreleased recordings of the singer have been discovered in the Sony Music archives: the compilation album "You and I". It contains a total of ten songs that Buckley recorded in 1993, shortly after signing a contract with the record company. In addition to two of his own songs, "Grace" and "Dream Of You And I", the singer covers eight tracks on "You And I" - including songs by Bob Dylan, Buck White, Sly and the Family Stone, The Smiths and Led Zeppelin. For a long time, these recordings remained undiscovered - until now. The album is yet another piece in the puzzle of Jeff Buckley's posthumously released albums. It brings together some of the legendary singer-songwriter's most distinctive recordings - his own songs and favourites. In 2016, we get to enjoy previously unheard recordings of the legend: 'You And I' is further proof of what kind of man and what a gifted singer and guitarist Jeff Buckley was. Review.
