Satriani has once again gathered around him a proven trio of world-class musicians who accompanied him on his last world tour. Shockwave Supernova" also reunited with co-producer and sound engineer John Cuniberti. He is also a reliable guitarist's companion and has already contributed to the 1986 debut "Not Of This Earth" and the subsequent multi-platinum album "Surfing with the Alien". Minnemann and Beller share rhythmic collaboration on 11 songs on the album. For the next four tracks of "Shockwave Supernova", Satriani brought in two other amazing musicians, Vinnie Colaiuta and Chris Chaney.
