The Mozart Orchestra is conducted by Giuliano Carmignola, an Italian master violinist who has earned a reputation as a specialist in 18th-century music thanks to his work with the Sonatori de la Gioiosa Marca and the Venice Baroque Orchestra. The soloists also include such distinguished instrumentalists as Jacques Zoon, Reinhold Friedrich, Alois Posch, Ottavio Dantone, Danusha Waskiewicz, Mario Brunello, Alessio Allegrini and Jonathan Williams. The Mozart Orchestra was founded by Claudio Abbado and his decisions speak for themselves: Claudio Abbado and the Mozart Orchestra achieve a homogeneity of sound rarely heard.
