The indefatigable father of the blues 82 is no age, at least not for the "godfather of British blues". For in 2017, legend John Mayall presents a new album called "Talk About That". The singer and musician recorded eleven songs for it last year, eight Mayall originals and three blues classics, "It's Hard Going Up", "Goin' Away Baby" and "Don't Deny Me", which he and his band gave their own interpretation to. His band on "Talk About That" is made up of longtime colleagues: guitarist Rocky Athas, bassist Greg Rzab and drummer Jay Davenport. Mayall himself took on vocals, keys, guitar and harmonica. Joe Walsh will be a special guest. The legendary Eagles guitarist contributes to the songs The Devil Must Be Laughing and Cards On The Table. Mayall recorded and produced the new album with Eric Corn at House of Blues Studios and Forty Below Studios in California. John Mayall is tireless. His new album "Talk About That" not only re-enforces his reputation as a legend, but also shows that he is still one of the most creative exponents of his field. And also one of the most active, because in February and March 2017 John Mayall will come to Germany for 14 concerts at once.
