American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey is releasing Norman Fucking Rockwell on August 30 this year. The majority of the highly anticipated album was produced and written by Jack Antonoff, who is a member of the band Fun and has worked with Taylor Swift, Lorde, St. Vincent and Troy Sivan, to name a few. The album features hits such as Venice Bitch or Doin' Time. Lana Del Rey, real name Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, is a singer, songwriter, producer, poet, model and music video director. Her musical work has long been appreciated by many critics for its typical and tightly detailed stylizations that deal with tragic love, feminine glamour and melancholy, referring particularly to the popular culture of the 1950s and 1960s. A breakthrough in Lana's musical career is represented by the composition Video Games, and its accompanying music video, released in 2011. This was followed a year later by her debut album Born to Die, which immediately placed Lana among the top ten most popular artists of the moment. In particular, the song Summertime Sadness has become a new classic. This was followed by the Paradise EP, the film Tropico, and a part in the soundtrack of The Great Gatsby (specifically the song Young and Beautifulwhich became a long-running number one hit), other studio albums(Ultraviolence, Honeymoon, Lust for Life) and, most importantly, Grammy and Golden Globe nominations.
