There is no doubt that "Killection", the tenth studio album by Finnish monster rockers Lordi, has become the band's most versatile and remarkable work to date! Officially a rock/heavy metal band, Lordi was founded in 1992 by singer, songwriter and designer Mr. Lordi. The band has deep roots in Finland and hails from Rovaniemi in northern Lapland. In 2006 the band broke through on the international scene by participating in the Eurovision Song Contest ("Hard Rock Hallelujah"). But is this all just our poor little reality and are things really quite different? What if Lordi have actually been around since the early 70s, have been unleashing hit after hit on humanity since then and are now looking back on a whole collection of successful songs? That's exactly the idea behind Lordi's tenth studio album "Killection". Once again, Mr. Lordi presents us with one of his equally absurd and brilliant ideas: "Killection" is a compilation album that pretends Lordi has been around since the early 1970s.
