Meshuggah is celebrating over a quarter of a century at the forefront of their genre and now they have delighted their fans with the release of a new DVD entitled "The Ophidian Trek". This audio-visual revival features a complete live Meshuggah performance recorded on May 3, 2013 at a joint concert with Devin Townsend at Brixton Academy in London. The thirteen tracks on "The Ophidian Trek" are a great retrospective of Meshuggah's brilliant career - starting with the first track of the evening "Swarm", just one of many from the current album "Koloss" (2012), through "ObZen" (2008) with songs like "Lethargica" and "Bleed" to the very beginning of "Chaosphere" (1998) with "New Millennium Cynadie Christ".
