A new collection of ballads from Mono Inc. On the album "Melodies In Black" MONO INC. collected all their ballads on a double album and even re-recorded some of them completely. In addition, the album contains a brand new song! "Melodies In Black" takes the listener on a romantic musical journey through the complete discography of MONO INC. and invites you to dream, think, rejoice and "rest". A total of 34 tracks make it onto this heartfelt compilation, including the previously unreleased "Scared", a deep piano ballad from lyrical wizard Martin Engler. And not only that, as the band also completely re-recorded familiar classics that fans have come to love, such as "Life Hates You" and "Just Because I Love You". Even the audience favorite "An Klaren Tagen" was completely re-recorded in the studio in a duet version with drummer Kathou Mia, which the quartet will perform at three exclusive "The Raven Flies Again" concerts in August 2020. Mastermind Martin Engler introduced the song with the words "How much closeness does a man need?" and told the story of Erna, who died of loneliness in a nursing home during the Corona pandemic. So "Melodies In Black" isn't just a collection of ballads, but with the newly arranged songs and a new track, it should make fans' hearts beat faster. In addition to the double album, which will be released in a high quality digipak, there will also be a limited edition fan box that will contain many special items such as a caddy book, as well as an exclusive book with translations of all the English titles written by Martin himself.
