The album cover shows the band (Marcus Mumford, Winston Marshall, Ben Lovett and Ted Dwane) at an English party with children, beer and a horse. Some of the songs on the album were written during past Mumford & Sons tours and debuted at their shows. The Londoners have had to take an unscheduled break from touring in recent months: First, frontman Marcus Mumford married English actress Carey Mulligan in April and shortly afterwards broke his arm in June 2012.
