This album is a compilation of live recordings from Nirvana's 1988 Seattle Christmas concert. The album is a mix of cover versions and originals and is a great representation of the band's early sound. The covers are particularly interesting, showing the band's influences at the time. There are versions of "Silent Night" and "Auld Lang Syne" that are faithful to traditional arrangements, as well as punkier versions of "Jingle Bells" and "Little Drummer Boy". The originals are also worth a listen, especially "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "School".
