The first albums to be released are "Paul Simon" (1972), "There Goes Rhymini' Simon" (1973), "Still Crazy After All These Years" (1975) and the live album "Paul Simon In Concert: Live Rhymin'" (recorded 1973-74 on tour with Urubamba and the Jessy Dixon Singers): "Songwriters Hall Of Fame", Johnny Mercer Award, "Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame" , "Kennedy Center Honors", and in 2007 the first recipient of the "Gershwin Prize for Popular Song", which is awarded to artists who have had a lasting and positive impact on popular music and have achieved similarly outstanding results to the Gershwins. His 1972 solo album "Paul Simon" reached number 37 on the German album chart. Most notable titles are "Mother and Child Reunion" (#23 on the singles chart) and "Me and Julio Down By the Schoolyard";
