Their music was influenced by The Byrds and My Bloody Valentine, and Rachel Goswell's angelic vocals and Neil Hatstead and Christian Saville's psychedelically roaring guitar walls thrilled the English music press and fans of the shoegazer sound."Pygmalion" is the title of Slowdive's last album, released in 1995, and unlike the previous two albums, the experimental sounds here were more prevalent, with a style more in the realm of ambient electronic music. This reissue also includes a bonus CD with rare demo versions that were not previously available on CD. Remastered.
