On the 20th anniversary of the release of their biggest success, the Charlatans' debut album, which went to number one, is being released in an expanded reissue. Rarely have rock and dance converged as they did in the early 1990s, when a wave of rave music from England swept the world. And the lead singer of the Charlatans, Tim Burgess, delivered the anthem for all the ravers between Manchester and Munich, "The Only One I Know". Their debut album is being released in a remastered version with a bonus CD featuring singles not on the album, as well as previously unreleased recordings from the BBC (John Peel). Also included is a 20-page booklet with liner notes by John Robb.
