Most of the songs on "Mindfields" are over 5 minutes long and range across genres from pop-rock to world music, jazz-fusion to blues-rock. "Mindfields" is an album full of the instrumental and vocal virtuosity that took the band Toto from the youthful path of 1980s music videos to the highway of adult arena rock today.
