The release is also the result of Dapton's Super Soul Revue last year. The concert series, which featured all Dapton artists performing together, culminated in three sold-out shows at the world-famous Apollo Theater in Harlem. The new double album keeps fans of the Brooklyn-based label in suspense. A label that has become a major reference point for new soul music and a model for independent labels around the world. Featuring some of the most popular tracks ever released by Daptone. For example: Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings - "Better Things" (from 2010's "I Learned The Hard Way"), "Inspiration Information" (a cover of Shuggie Otis' "Soul Time") and "Retreat!" from their latest album "Give The People What They Want".
