In 2016, the 3CD chronicle I'm A Freak Baby was released, giving a significant overview of the emerging British hard rock and proto-metal scene of the late sixties and early seventies. Now, three years later, I'm A Freak 2 Baby follows up the original and delivers on three CDs a number of songs characteristic of this tumultuous musical era. I'm A Freak 2 Baby expands the song selection of icons such as Iron Claw, Stack Waddy and Wicked Lady. The collection features many key tracks from the pioneers of the genre. For example, Jeff Beck Group, Edgar Broughton Band, Atomic Rooster and High Tide. The spectrum ranges from top five hits to a number of bands (Thor, Tonge, Tarsus and a few others) that were active at the time but did not achieve full fame. The collection also includes tracks from some of the rarest albums of the era. With a lavish forty-page booklet containing rare photos and memorabilia from the era, and many of the recordings appearing on CD for the first time, I'm A Freak 2 Baby is another important addition to the musical history of the era.
