Together with two fellow actors, they want to prove their charitable commitment and come across lesbian teenager Emma Nolan. She in turn wants to go to the big dance with her friend Alyssa, but that would lead to scandal in conservative Indiana. Together with the cast, the teens look for a way to get to the prom together. The story is full of differences between young and old, humorous misunderstandings, the ideal of enjoying life to the fullest and the search for one's own self. The music embodies exactly these emotions in the typical mania of a modern Broadway musical. Anyone who has seen Glee will love this music and film!
