New Life for Forgotten Songs Two years after his last album "We're All In This Together", Walter Trout returns from the studio in 2019 with a new LPm: Here is "Survivor Blues". Instead of his own songs, this time the American guitarist and singer opted for an album of cover versions. However, it wasn't classics and evergreens that served him as covers, but rather lesser-known works that have never or rarely been reinterpreted. For the album Survivor Blues, Trout gave them a completely new blues look with a distinctive touch. He revealed what it all sounds like when he released "Me, My Guitar And The Blues". Walter Trout recorded "Survivor Blues" with producer Eric Corn in Los Angeles at the studio of former The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger. And Krieger made a guest appearance. Additional musical support was provided by blues singer Sugaray Rayford. Almost forgotten songs meet modern blues: Walter Trout breathes new life into several exciting tracks on Survivor Blues.
