The Crimson Idol is an album by the American heavy metal band W.A.S.P. released in 1992. It is a concept album based on the story of Jonathan Aaron Steele, a rock star who becomes a drug addict and falls from fame. The album was released as a CD and a double LP. In 2007, it was re-released as a complete CD/DVD set.
