Canto Fiorito is an early music ensemble that specializes in the performance of Renaissance and Baroque music. The group is known for its historically informed performances, which aim to recreate the soundscapes of the past using period instruments and techniques. Founded by conductor and harpsichordist Rodrigo Calveyra, Canto Fiorito has been active in the international early music scene, participating in various festivals and concert series. The ensemble often collaborates with vocalists and other musicians to explore a wide range of repertoire from the 16th to the 18th centuries, with a particular focus on the music of the Baltic region. Their work contributes to the rediscovery and performance of lesser-known works alongside established masterpieces of early music.
