Czech Baroque Ensemble

Collegium Marianum is a Czech early music ensemble that specializes in the performance of Baroque music, with a particular focus on works from the 17th and 18th centuries. The group was founded by the flutist Jana Semerádová, who is also its artistic director. Collegium Marianum is known for its historically informed performances, which aim to recreate the sound and style of the period in which the music was composed. They often perform lesser-known works by Czech and other European composers, bringing to light the rich musical heritage of the Baroque era.
