Freternia is a power metal band that originated from Sweden. Formed in the late 1990s, the band quickly established itself within the metal community with their debut album "Warchants & Fairytales" released in 2000. This album, along with their subsequent releases, showcased their penchant for epic storytelling and melodic compositions, which are characteristic of the power metal genre. Following their debut, Freternia released "A Nightmare Story" in 2002 and after a long hiatus, they made a comeback with "The Gathering" in 2019.
