Helga Dernesch

Helga Dernesch is an Austrian soprano and mezzo-soprano renowned for her performances in operas by Richard Wagner and Richard Strauss, among others. Born on February 3, 1939, in Vienna, she began her career as a soprano in the 1960s, gaining international acclaim for her powerful voice and dramatic intensity.
