Dutch Thrash Metal Band

Izegrim is a Dutch thrash metal/death metal band that was formed in 1996. Throughout their career, they have been known for their aggressive style and powerful live performances. The band has undergone several lineup changes over the years, with vocalist/bassist Marloes Voskuil and guitarist Jeroen Wechgelaer being notable members who contributed to the band's sound and success. Izegrim released several albums that have solidified their presence in the metal scene, including "Code Of Consequences" (2011), "Congress Of The Insane" (2013), and "The Ferryman's End" (2016). These records showcase the band's evolution in terms of musical complexity and lyrical themes, often revolving around societal issues and personal struggles. The band announced their farewell in 2019, deciding to disband after a final tour, thus concluding over two decades of contribution to the metal genre.
