German Classical Composer and Harpsichordist

Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach was a German composer and musician, the ninth son of the renowned Johann Sebastian Bach. Born on June 21, 1732, in Leipzig, he was often referred to as the 'Bückeburg Bach' due to his long-term position as Kapellmeister in Bückeburg. His musical style bridged the late Baroque and early Classical periods. Although not as widely known as some of his siblings, such as Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach or Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, Johann Christoph Friedrich made significant contributions to the musical world of his time.
