Slovak Folklore Ensemble Choir

The Lúčnica Chorus is a prominent component of the Lúčnica Slovak National Folklore Ballet, which is one of Slovakia's most famous folk music and dance ensembles. Established shortly after World War II in 1948, the ensemble has been showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Slovakia through music and dance for decades. The chorus, along with dancers and an orchestra, performs traditional Slovak songs arranged in a manner that retains their original charm while presenting them in a more sophisticated form suitable for stage performances.
