Melodic Hard Rock Duo

MARCELLO/VESTRY is the name of a new stellar sounding melodic rock project featuring the talents of guitar wizard Rob Marcello and vocalist Frank Vestry. These 2 have produced some of the best sounding melodic hard rock tunes since Brother Firetribe's "False Metal" CD from 2006. Rob Marcello is a noted guitar master and plays in the vein of Tony McAlpine and Vinny Moore, but has left the widdly-diddly alone for a moment to concentrate instead on a collection of commercial melodic rock that has a lot in common with his current band Danger Danger plus many others in the genre. Originally intended to be a solo work by guitarist Rob Marcello (Danger Danger), fellow Danger Danger compatriot Bruno Ravel encouraged Marcello to recruit (the not so well known) vocalist Frank Vestry (Devias and Last Temptation) to sing. One listen through will tell you that this was good advice and an excellent match. The partnership was so good that Mr. Marcello changed the work's appellation to 'Marcello-Vestry.' This makes perfect sense because these two musicians work seamlessly together to create great melodic hard rock. Rob Marcello of Danger Danger and vocalist Frank Vestry is a bombshell of melodic rock. Marcello - Vestry is a collaboration album that is on par with Allen - Lande’s The Battle. Similarly, both projects also had a commander in chief behind the scenes that penned the songs. In Allen - Lande’s case it was Magnus Karlsson. Helping out with the writing here is bassist Bruno Ravel who plays alongside Rob in Danger Danger. This has the best elements of sleazy glam metal, AOR balladry and high class melodies, and topped off with a healthy shot of virtuosic guitar playing.
