Nick Heyward

Nick Heyward is an English singer-songwriter and musician who first came to public attention in the early 1980s as the frontman and primary songwriter for the new wave band Haircut One Hundred. The band achieved considerable success with their debut album "Pelican West" (1982), which featured hits such as "Love Plus One" and "Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl)." After leaving Haircut One Hundred, Heyward embarked on a solo career, releasing his first solo album "North of a Miracle" in 1983. The album was well-received and produced several UK hit singles, including "Whistle Down the Wind" and "Take That Situation."
