Paul Jones

British blues and rock singer and harmonica player

Paul Jones is an English singer, actor, harmonica player, radio personality and television presenter. He first gained prominence as the original lead singer of the band Manfred Mann in the 1960s, which had several hits including "Do Wah Diddy Diddy" and "Pretty Flamingo." After leaving Manfred Mann in 1966, Jones launched a solo career and released albums such as "My Way" (1966). He also pursued acting, appearing in films and on stage. In addition to his solo work, Jones has been involved in various musical projects and collaborations over the years. He has hosted blues and jazz shows on BBC Radio 2 and has been a member of The Blues Band since its formation in 1979. His contributions to music have made him a respected figure in the British blues and rock scenes.
