PRhyme is a hip-hop duo consisting of Detroit-based rapper Royce da 5'9" and New York-based producer DJ Premier. The group was formed in 2014, bringing together two veterans of the hip-hop scene with extensive careers in their respective fields. Royce da 5'9", born Ryan Daniel Montgomery, is known for his intricate lyricism and association with Eminem, both as a solo artist and as part of the duo Bad Meets Evil. DJ Premier, born Christopher Edward Martin, is revered as one of the greatest hip-hop producers of all time, having been one-half of the influential duo Gang Starr alongside the late MC Guru and producing tracks for numerous acclaimed artists across multiple decades.
