Stan Webb is a British blues guitarist and singer, best known as the frontman of the blues rock band Chicken Shack. Formed in the mid-1960s, Chicken Shack was part of the wave of British blues bands that emerged during that era, alongside groups like Fleetwood Mac and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. Webb's distinctive guitar playing and vocals were central to the band's sound. Chicken Shack enjoyed a measure of success, particularly in the late 1960s and early 1970s, with hits such as "I'd Rather Go Blind," which featured Christine Perfect (later known as Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac) on vocals.
