Swedish Psychedelic Rock Band

The Movements were a Swedish rock band known for their blend of garage rock, psychedelia, and 1960s-influenced sounds. Formed in Gothenburg in the early 2000s, the group gained a reputation for their energetic live performances and a dedicated following within the European underground music scene. Their music often featured a mix of organ-driven melodies, fuzzed-out guitars, and introspective lyrics. The band released several albums that showcased their evolution in sound and composition, including "Like Elephants 1" in 2013 and its sequel "Like Elephants 2" in 2014. These albums were well-received within their genre, earning praise for their cohesiveness and the way they captured the essence of the psychedelic era while still sounding contemporary. The Movements disbanded after these releases, leaving behind a legacy of being one of Sweden's notable contributions to the neo-psychedelic rock movement of the early 21st century.
