Solid construction, easy installation including a grounding cable that dissipates static electricity. The arm attaches to the turntable via an adhesive pad. The Nostatic Arm is a modern version of Cecil Watts' previously well-known "Dust Bug" brush.The arm features a carbon fiber brush that removes static electricity from the LP during playback while capturing loose dirt before the stylus reaches that part of the vinyl.The Nostatic Arm has a ground wire that connects to the ground of the turntable or amplifier. The height can be easily adjusted to suit most turntables. It also has a sliding weight to adjust the "cleaning power" of the brush. The base of the brush has adhesive tape underneath so it can be glued to the surface of the turntable as needed for ease of use.
