However, it's been a long road from their debut album a good 15 years ago to the number one spot in the charts. Since then, the Scots have released six albums. "Ellipsis" is the title of their new seventh studio album. Biffy Clyro 2016 picks up on it where they left off three years ago on "Opposites". The first single "Wolves Of Winter" even shows that they are following up their earlier, somewhat "heavier" records with their new album. As usual, Biffy wrote their songs together in the rehearsal room. Finally, they recorded at Eldorado Recording Studios in Los Angeles with producer Rich Costey (Sigur Rós, Frank Turner, Muse), who captured an explosive mix.
