After the successful debut album Billy Talent and its excellent follow-up "Billy Talent II", the band returned to the studio to record their third opus "Billy Talent III". They added earthy blues-rock and their energetic punk-pop to their sound. The album reached number two on the sales charts in Germany and Austria and number three in Switzerland. In April 2010, the album won the Juno Award for Best Rock Album. A total of 5 singles were released from the album, the most successful of which was "Rusted from the Rain", which reached the Top 20 in Germany and Austria. As a little trivia, the album "Billy Talent III" features guest appearances by members of the cult band Anti-Flag.
