Black Sabbath : Live Evil is an album by Black Sabbath released in 1982. It was recorded live during three concerts at the Hammersmith Odeon in London on 14, 15 and 16 July 1982. The album was produced by Martin Birch. The album was originally released as a double LP, but was later re-released as a single CD. It was also released on DVD. The album was well received by critics. AllMusic gave the album 4.5 stars out of 5, stating, "This is one of the best live metal albums of all time." The album was commercially successful and charted at number 48 on the Billboard 200. The album features live versions of songs from Black Sabbath' first four albums as well as the song "Neon Knights", which originally appeared on the album Heaven and Hell. The album was remastered and re-released in 2010 as part of the box set Black Sabbath : The Complete Studio Albums 1970-1978.
