Dropkick Murphys release their eighth studio album with Signed And Sealed In Blood. After the concept album "Going Out In Style", the Boston septet returns to their old roots - the music is loud, catchy, just plain fun and sure to destroy a fan's speaker or two. Dropkick Murphys also collaborated with producer Ted Hutt (Gaslight Anthem) on this album and recorded it in their hometown of Boston at Q Division Studios, with Joe Chiccarelli (The White Stripes) handling the mixing. The Dropkick Murphys once again prove their great songwriting qualities: the louder tracks sound frantic, dangerous, loud, like the last 30 seconds of a football game. The quiet notes are about traditional values, family, neighborhood, roots, honor and respect, themes that have always been present in the band's songs. Since its formation in 1996, the band has sold more than 4 million records worldwide and collaborated with such stars as Bruce Springsteen. Their hit "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" has reached platinum status. The band has played sold out shows all over the world and over the years has gained a loyal fan base that is unparalleled in the rock business.
