Led Zeppelin's legendary BBC sessions remastered and expanded in 2016 It's been almost 20 years since Led Zeppelin first released a recording of their legendary live BBC radio performances (1969 to 1971) called "The BBC Sessions". However, these recordings were previously considered incomplete. On "The Complete BBC Sessions", the band presents the complete live recordings from 2016, remastered and with previously unheard tracks. The sound restoration was overseen by Jimmy Page himself. The highlight of "The BBC Sessions", however, are eight additional tracks that the 1997 version of the album did not include. For example, there are long-lost radio recordings from 1969 that have gained an almost mythical reputation among Led Zeppelin fans over the years, including "I Can't Quit You Baby," "You Shook Me" and the only live version of "Sunshine Woman." There are also two previously unreleased recordings, "Communication Breakdown" and "What Is And What Should Never Be". The songs were recorded two years apart and show the tremendous development the then still young band achieved in a very short time. Led Zeppelin's album "The Complete BBC Sessions" is now available as a complete set consisting of 3 CDs and also as a limited box set with a total of 5 LPs on 180g heavyweight vinyl. Both versions also include extensive liner notes by Dave Lewis, which for the first time also include details and band notes on all the BBC sessions. 'The Complete BBC Sessions' is also available as a limited edition deluxe box set. It includes both CD and LP, a download code for all the recordings in audiophile quality 96kHz/24-bit, as well as a 48-page book and press cover. The first 30,000 deluxe boxes are also individually numbered. A package that will make collectors, fans and lovers of good rock music tingle their fingers.
