Newly remastered and expanded 2CD edition of the classic 1969 Procol Harum album This 2CD deluxe edition of "A Salty Dog" has been expanded with 12 bonus tracks - 5 previously unreleased. The package includes a mono single mix of the title track and B-side, an early recording of "The Milk Of Human Kindness" and 5 previously unreleased tracks from the BBC Radio Sessions of October 1968 and May 1969 and 4 live tracks recorded in the USA in April 1969. The expanded deluxe edition of "A Salty Dog" is accompanied by a lavishly illustrated booklet, the cover art and photographs have been completely redesigned and new liner notes have been written by Procol Harum biographer Henry Scott-Irvine. Review "With A SALTY DOG (1969), the most beautiful of Procol Harum's early albums, the mono mix, on the other hand, no longer played a role. The eleven bonus tracks on the second CD contain five previously unheard tracks." (Good Times, October/November 2015)
