Pungent Stench Masters of Moral's fourth album, Servants of Sin, was released in 2001. The album was produced by Waldemar Sorychta and featured the return of Alex Wank, who had left the band in 1997. The album was a critical and commercial success and was nominated for "Best Death Metal Album" at the 2002 Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards.
