"Ammonia Avenue" was the seventh album by The Alan Parsons Project, released in February 1984. Composer, musician and manager Eric Woolfson and acclaimed producer and engineer Alan Parsons were behind the project. Musicians such as Ian Bairnson (guitars), David Paton (bass) and Stuart Elliott (drums) contributed to the album, with Eric Woolfson playing keyboards and singing on four of the 90 songs. Colin Blunstone, Chris Rainbow and Lenny Zakatek contributed to the remaining songs. "Ammonia Avenue" became one of The Alan Parsons Project's bestsellers and achieved gold status in many European countries and the USA.
