Their most famous song, "Fairytale of New York" is one of the most well-known Christmas songs in the world, and it has brought the Pogues sound into the mainstream. The Pogues are the "epitome" so to speak of a mixture of fun, dancing, partying and a "little" alcohol. Banjo, saxophone, brass, accordion, guitar, drums, bass and an unmistakable voice celebrate life and its aberrations here. They have made history, so successfully that even those who normally don't like this kind of music can't escape here and at least know the name of the band. To properly celebrate this anniversary, the first five classic albums and the 1986 EP "Poguetry In Motion", produced by Elvis Costello, are now available again on vinyl.
