Arabesque was a popular disco music group formed in the late 1970s in Germany. The band primarily consisted of three female vocalists—Sandra Ann Lauer (who later became known simply as Sandra and had a successful solo career), Michaela Rose, and Jasmine Vetter. They achieved considerable success in Japan, the USSR, and other parts of Eastern Europe with their catchy pop tunes and dance music. Arabesque's music was characterized by its disco beats, melodic hooks, and the harmonious interplay of the vocalists.
